TAT WONG KUNG FU ACADEMY KICKS OFF THE PREMIERE SCREENING OF KARATE KID MOVIE

     On June 10th, 2010, the Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy was invited to perform at the premiere screening of the new “Karate Kid” movie.

     The screening and performance took place at the AMC Theater on Van Ness Ave in San Francisco, California.

     These top students and tournament champions performed before the start of the movie, in front of an audience of 300 including movie industry insiders.  Performing totally dynamic empty hand forms, weapon forms & fighting forms were; Danica Seto, Morgan Yee & Alex Catiggay of the San Mateo Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy.  Joining them were Leah Leiner, Robin Yee & Daniel Hom of the San Francisco Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy. Leading the team was kung fu mom and Black Belt instructor Katrina Seto.

Each & every one of these performers executed their forms with astonishing speed, power, accuracy and energy.  They made Master Tat-Mau Wong, their instructors and classmates extremely proud.  They were the perfect representatives of the Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy and the spirit of the new Karate Kid movie.
