Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy Forms Championship - June 2009

The Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy Forms Grand Championship was held in San Francisco on Sunday June 14th, 2009.  More than two hundred competitors ranging in ages four to sixty-four years old competed in hand forms and weapons.

The competitors came from the three San Francisco Bay Area Tat Wong Kung Fu Academies of San Francisco, San Mateo and Concord.  Also joining the event were competitors from the Tat Wong Kung Fu affiliate school, ‘Silver Dragon Kung Fu’ under the leadership of Sijeh Jill Moran.

While the competitors vied for Gold, Silver & Bronze Medals, spectators also had a chance to win prizes in a raffle contest.  It was non-stop action and the day flew by for competitors, judges, volunteers, families and friends.

Congratulations to all our competitors for stepping up and entering the ring.  You took on the challenge with pride and confidence and made your family, friends & teachers proud.
 
Special Congratulations to all our 3 Star Grand Champion Competitors.  These daring Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy Black Belts competed with the best of the best in Hand Form, Long Weapon & Short Weapon.  They displayed the skills, power, knowledge and spirit of truly well rounded martial artists.
